Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team.
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations.
This position requires experience in commercial driving and the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including delivery trucks, roll-off trucks, and flatbeds
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as necessary
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in proper working order
- Plan and follow designated routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Experience:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with experience operating manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers is a plus
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including loading/unloading heavy cargo
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
