Established, busy Pacific Palisades family is seeking a Household Manager to oversee the daily operations of our home.
This is a part-time position with an estimated commitment of 12-18 hours per week, though this may vary.
While much of the work may be accomplished remotely, in-person meetings with the Head of Family will take place weekly.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Managing existing household staff and members, including culinary and maintenance staff, landscapers, housekeepers, and pets.
• Creating, maintaining, and assuring adherence to staff and family schedules.
• Arranging appointments for residents’ personal and professional needs.
• Handling any miscellaneous household tasks as assigned, such as shopping, light bookkeeping, general errands, etc.
• Planning and organizing travel.
• Coordination of preliminary renovation efforts.
• General oversight and supervision pertaining to various domestic projects.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years in a similar household management role with impeccable references.
• Proven ability to manage multiple direct reports, ensuring accountability, highest performance quality, efficiency, and positive interpersonal dynamics.
• Highly organized with superior multi-tasking capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a range of personalities and English-language proficiencies.
• Familiarity with Pacific Palisades and surrounding areas.
• Calm and capable under pressure.
• Superior talent for prioritizing and getting things done quickly and efficiently.
