SUMMARY:
Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of inspection routines, makes recommendations for resolution of deficiencies, writes and maintains site reports and reevaluates that deficiencies had been corrected.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Reads and understands customer requirements for site and building inspections.
2.
Conducts periodic visits to sites at designated intervals pursuant to customer requirements.
3.
Communicates with site contact to evaluate the status of previously un-resolved matters and identifies new issues.
4.
Inspects janitorial closets to insure that chemicals and other supplies are properly stocked and in the appropriate containers.
5.
Inspects employee compliance to uniform and safety equipment practices.
6.
Prepares and submits written reports of inspections using Dedicated’s Geo-Check technology to assigned Region Manager and Area Supervisor.
7.
Follows up and/or re-inspects sites to ensure that recommended corrective measures have been resolved.
8.
Coordinates major services schedule with customer and Dedicated Operations.
9.
Solicits, prepares, and provides price quotes for additional (TAG) services.
10.
Maintains confidentiality in all matters.
11.
Other duties or special projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
To be successful in this position, the incumbent must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Education and Experience:
1.
Graduation from a four-year accredited college or university, plus two to five years of related experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Abilities: 1.
Understand and speak English to communicate and interact effectively with supervisor, co-workers and customers.
2.
Understand and speak Spanish is desired, but not required.
3.
The ability to read, understand and communicate safety rules, regulations, procedures, inspection lists, charts, chemical compounds and work directions.
4.
The ability to work safely in accordance with company and job site safety procedures.
Other Requirements
1.
Safe driving record and proof of current auto insurance required.
2.
The incumbent/employee must pass an integrity test, background check (DOJ & FBI livescan), pre-employment drug/alcohol test with periodic retesting requirements during the course of his or her employment with Dedicated.
