Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity for engineering professionals interested in designing and developing dynamic digital engagement solutions that enable healthcare organizations to engage and align with their members, patients, and third party affiliates.
The ideal candidate is an entry-level software engineer who has worked with technologies used by mPulse, such as Python, Java, Perl, Postgres, SQL, and other web engineering technologies.
He or she should have a passion for enhancing the consumer healthcare experience using technology such as SMS, IVR, Email, and AI.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Scoping, designing, and developing dynamic personalized SMS and IVR messages for mPulse’s customers and their members, patients, and third party affiliates
Partner with and/or develop external reporting for customers
Troubleshooting and debugging code to identify and fix issues
Creating and maintaining technical documentation
Working with the Quality Assurance team to help test issues and features
Adhere to mPulse’s software development standards and practices to ensure quality and timely execution
Actively participate and represent customer delivery in client meetings as needed
Actively stay abreast of digital strategy and communications
Participate in company and / or department initiatives
Skills/Abilities/Experience:
Familiarity with omni channel technologies – SMS, MMS, Telephony – IVR, Email
Basic proficiency with scripting languages
Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical professionals
Ability to work/learn independently as well as in a team setting
Minimum Qualifications:
1+ years of hands-on experience writing software.
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Certification, Bootcamp completion, or equivalent experience.
