Responsibilities Here’s what you’ll get to do: Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and objectives.
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and data requirements.
Report Development: Design and create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using reporting tools and software.
Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and user-friendly.
Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Data Collection: Gather, clean, and maintain data from various sources to ensure data integrity.
Develop processes for data extraction and transformation.
Automation: Implement and maintain automated reporting processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of reports.
Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive documentation for reporting processes, including report specifications, data sources, and methodologies.
Quality Assurance: Validate the accuracy and consistency of reports and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
User Training: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively use reporting tools and understand the data presented.
Report Enhancement: Continuously improve and enhance reporting systems, dashboards, and data visualization techniques to meet evolving business needs.
Communication: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure that reports and insights align with business goals and objectives.
Qualifications Here’s what we require: 5+ years of proven experience as a Reporting Business Analyst or similar role.
3+ year of data analysis and data visualization skills.
3+ years proficiency in reporting tools (e.
g.
, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI, Excel).
3+ years of SQL experience for data retrieval and manipulation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Familiarity with data collection, cleaning, and transformation processes.
Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex datasets.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Here’s what we prefer: Restaurant or Retail industry experience Project Management experience.
