\*\*\*This Role will be located at CASTAIC MIDDLE SCHOOL
Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri 2:30pm-7pm, AND Wednesdays 1:45pm-7pm
We are looking for energetic charismatic people who have a deep passion for working with children and teenagers, who want to make a difference in their community and have a positive impact on the future.

You will work with a wide variety of youth from various socioeconomic backgrounds.

*Position: Youth Development Professional Responsibilities:*
Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities for members.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all members.
Assist with homework and provide tutoring support.
Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure a seamless integration of Club programs with the community.
Provide mentorship and support to Club members.
*Qualifications:*
Minimum of a High School diploma.
\*\*Previous experience working with youth in an educational or recreational setting\*\*.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle challenging behaviors and diffuse conflicts.
Passion for youth development and creating positive experiences for children.
Under the supervision of the School Site Manager and Site Coordinator, the YDP assists in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and delivery of programming at the Club.
Experience should cover a wide variety of youth development programs.
The Program Assistant will develop meaningful relationships with youth in an after school and summer program setting.
Program will be at a Castaic Middle School working with teens after school.
Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri 2:30pm-7pm, AND Wednesdays 1:45pm-7pm
All candidates that are selected will have to undergo a background check and pre-employment drug screening, and TB Test.
