Maps old USA west - $1,000 (studio city)

These are a collection of 500 maps from the 1920's 30's 40's 50's.
Many have notes and are signed by US cold George Ruhlen.
This US colonel also served in the San Diego historical museum and I believe these maps were from his private collection.
They have official seals from the United states department of war and the secretary of war.
They are from mostly California, war barracks and other states from the west.
There are penciled notes on some of them indicated troop movement in the 1800's.
Some have San Francisco bay area maps that are very large Approx.
8 feet.
They depict forests, mountain ranges and cities.
Also copies of U.
S.
barracks.
This collection is worth much more if they're sold individually.
This map collection all together was appraised at 3500.
