Job Description:
As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior intervention plans and providing support to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families in their homes.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting one-on-one therapy sessions with autistic children, following prescribed treatment plans.
- Implementing behavior management techniques and strategies to promote positive behavior.
- Collecting data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions.
- Collaborating with supervising professionals and caregivers to ensure consistency and effectiveness of therapy.
- Providing support and guidance to families on implementing behavior intervention strategies outside of therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to work with children with autism.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention plans effectively.
- Willingness to undergo training and pursue certification as a Behavior Technician.
- Clear a thorough background check.
