Accounting Clerk

*Duties:* - Perform various accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting.
- Process and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
*Requirements:* - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Quicken, Sage, or similar programs.
- Familiarity with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Knowledge of 10-key typing and ability to perform accurate calculations quickly.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial analysis.
- Understanding of debits, credits, and basic tax principles.
- Experience with payroll software is a plus.
